Y Towers

A new chapter for the Amsterdam skyline – two architecturally outstanding towers that are reshaping the cityscape along the IJ.

Y Towers Amsterdam on the IJ

The Project

Directly on the waterfront promenade of the IJ river – next to the renowned Eye Filmmuseum – IES has realized two iconic towers that leave a lasting mark on Amsterdam’s skyline. An urban design statement and a strong investment.

The first tower houses a 4-star conference hotel with approximately 600 rooms, operated by Maritim – a hotspot for tourism, business, and international conferences. The second tower offers 220 premium apartments with green terraces and spectacular views of the city and water.

In 2019, the shares were successfully sold to Union Investment – IES remains on board as the development partner. Completion took place at the end of 2022. The Y Towers are a flagship project for sustainable urban development and international investment.
